| I have been involved with Golden Retrievers in one-way or another my whole life. It all really started in the summer of 1988. My sisters and I woke up to quite the commotion coming from my parent's bathroom late that night. My sisters and I crawled out of bed and walked sleepily in to see what was going on. Within seconds this reddish blonde ball of hair was flying around their bedroom barking and licking us. That was the night we met Sam. That beautiful soul was the beginning of a lifetime passion for this breed. She was a pillow, a sister, and a friend. Sam was with us for 13 wonderful years. I still miss her and cannot think of her without crying. |

In 2006 I purchased two dark Golden Retrievers Morgan and Max. I started Obedience with Max, and I wanted to learn more so I joined the local kennel club in Kearney, NE. At the encouragement of 2 members I tagged along with them to my first AKC show. I was hooked! I wanted to show Golden Retrievers. In January 2008, I brought home my first prospective show dog and I have never looked back. Today, I have a full house with kids, goldens, cats, and my husband, Jason.
I participate in AKC Conformation and hopefully this year I will add more AKC events to my venues. I am a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America and an associate member of the Mile-Hi Golden Retriever Club. |
